Example picture of the Vertical Speed Indicator's dataplate. I took these pictures so that I could have a complete, easy to refer to, documentation of every instrument, every avionic item and each piece of equipment installed on N4846X. The collection of equipment pictures includes: Induction Air Filter, Voltage Regulator, Battery, Transponder, ELT, Intercom, Battery Contactor, Ignition Switch and many many more. |

It took some time to create a plan of attack to take all of these pictures, however, now that the pictures of everything imaginable on this airplane have been taken, I no longer need to guess what part number is installed. No longer will I have to check a particular piece of equipment to see who is the manufacturer. If an AD note comes out about part numbers on difficult to reach parts of the airplane, I have my pictures available for immediate determination of applicability.
